As if the love hadn't even mattered.
To feel like you're not whole anymore.
Because that person walked out the door.
It feels as though your soul is suffocating.
Because they had been the air you were breathing.
You miss them like the flower misses the water in a drought.
Because they always filled you up day in and day out.
Without them life doesn't feel worth living.
But I say this is only the beginning.
For I shall persevere and keep moving forward from this disaster.
For I am a survivor and I shall not let this pain become my master.
